Coaching for Lawyers Law Practice Tip

Law Practice Tip #262
September 12, 2011

Take stock of your goals and adjust if necessary

Given the uncertainty in the present economy, it might be advisable to adjust your goals. If they are too optimistic or pessimistic, adjust them to make them more realistic.

If you need to lower your goals, you can always raise them when you reach the new, achievable goals. If they were too pessimistic and you've exceeded or reached those goals, adjust them upward.

Goals need to be attainable to be motivating.
