Books Supporting Change

Take time for your Life by Cheryl Richardson (a leader in the field of Personal Coaching) is a book that might make you uncomfortable because she suggests that you be selfish.

The book is easy to read and full of success stories, exercises, advice, and resources that will help you "eliminate the things in life that are draining you and replace them with the things that fuel you."

Coaching Success Story

G originally hired me to improve his practice. Instead, he reached the understanding he was trying to be involved with more committees and firm responsibilities than he or anyone could possibly fit into a normal schedule -- let alone add steps to work on his practice.

As a result he decided to defer his practice building until he completed some other obligations. He decided to take more weekend offs and spend time with his family or doing things he enjoys.
