Books Supporting Change

The Tao of Leadership John Heider, has heightened my* awareness of how I am as a leader, both in my professional and personal life.

The concepts presented are so simple – yet so powerful. Live with success – don't flaunt it. Be aware – be in the present. Be calm when all around you is chaotic. These are just a few of the concepts presented.

The book is very easy reading – each thought/concept is concisely written. I first read this book ten years ago and just reread it again during a recent plane trip – I recommend it." *Thanks to Paul Mar for this book review.

Coaching Success Story

G, although a success by standards based on salary and respect did not believe she fit in with her firm's culture. She used coaching to become more authentic and true to her beliefs, which among other things, resulted in greater respect.

G is embracing her differences and showing up as a courageous leader in her firm and her community. She works unceasingly for what she believes and helps others do the same.
