Marketing Survey Response

Thank you for responding to my Coaching Marketing Survey. 80% of the respondents indicated you like the newsletter just the way it is. Thank you so much for that kind feedback.

The most common suggestion for change was that I include some client success stories. I started with a story in this newsletter.


Focus On What Matters

  • Reduce the number of projects you are working on to an easy number to handle.
  • Do what you do best and delegate or eliminate the rest.
  • Stop putting out fires.


Work Expands

Have you noticed that your work expands to fill the time you allotted for it? How many hours do you give to work every day? 8? 10? 12? More?

What would happen if you reduced the number of hours for work and stuck to your decision? What would happen if you allocated hours to yourself?

Success Stories

John wanted to get his office organized by eliminating all of the closed matter files. However, he felt he needed to go through the files before they could be removed. As the piles in his office got larger and larger he felt more and more overwhelmed.

Through our coaching conversations he ultimately realized he was unwilling to go through the files so he agreed to give one easy file (the small start) to his assistant to handle (delegation). She did a great job. John was so relieved he gave her all the many boxes of files in his office to handle. He feels great and is better able to focus on what he does well to build his business.

His assistant also feels good because his trust that she is capable of handling the filing is an acknowledgment of her talents.
