Books Supporting Change

True Professionalism: The Courage to Care about Your People, Your Clients, and Your Career, by David Maister is a terrific book that can offer you insight and advice no matter where you are in your career. Maister examines professionalism from the individual, organization, and client's perspective. Maister asserts "professionalism is: believing passionately in what you do, never compromising your standards and values, and caring about your clients, your people and your own career."

"Maister encourages the reader to consider the 'radical' idea that work should be enjoyable and that if it is, then success will come from doing it well."

"Success comes from doing what you enjoy. If you don't enjoy it, how can it be called success?"    David H. Maister

Personal Story

I completed further coach training last year - Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching offered by The Coaches Training Institute. The training gave me greater insights in coaching relationship systems in partnerships, organizations, groups, teams, and couples. It was marvelous training that gave me the opportunity to learn new tools and bring my coaching skills to a higher level.

I have been using these skills to coach professional partnerships including lawyers and architects.

The new skills have proved to be extremely beneficial working with my individual clients as well.

Your coaching, consulting, or workshop referrals are appreciated!
